Choosing your size

Round swing tags are available in any diameter from 20mm up to 296mm, the maximum that fits within an A3 sheet. Select from standard template sizes or enter your own custom diameter directly in the calculator - both can be ordered online. All sizes come with a fixed 3mm drill hole, positioned centrally at the top of the tag, or a 4mm drill hole when an eyelet is selected. If you need a different drill hole size, choose the Custom shape option in the calculator.

Choosing the right material

The full range of materials is available for round swing tags. Standard Silk is the most popular choice - smooth, full-colour print-ready, and cost-effective from 25 tags. Brown Kraft and Recycled board are widely used for artisan food, drink, and eco-conscious product ranges where natural credentials matter. Textured stock is sourced from sustainably managed forests and is fully recyclable, giving it strong environmental credentials alongside a premium tactile finish. Foiled and Metallic options are popular for premium gift products and luxury retail. Waterproof polyester film is tear-proof and suited to outdoor products and any application where moisture resistance is required. Frosted film gives a semi-translucent premium finish suited to cosmetics, candles, and high-end gifting. Laminated (matt or gloss) provides excellent durability and resistance to surface wear for round tags that will be handled repeatedly.

Single or double-sided printing

Round swing tags can be printed single or double-sided. Single-sided printing is the most cost-effective option and suits simpler designs. Double-sided printing makes full use of the circular format, popular for displaying a logo or design on the front with product information or a QR code on the reverse.

How to get the best print results

Round swing tags are printed using full-colour CMYK or white ink on your chosen material. Supply artwork at a minimum resolution of 300dpi at the final print size. Download the artwork template for your chosen size from the Template Downloads tab or the round tag templates page; each template includes the circular cut line, bleed area, and drill hole position. Keep critical content at least 3mm from the cut edge. 4pt is the minimum text size we can print for legibility; 8pt or above reads most clearly after printing and cutting. Note that round tags have no corners, so the full printable area within the circular boundary is available for your design.

Finishing options

Round swing tags can be finished with strings and eyelets. Strings are available in 11 options, including natural cotton twine, jute twine, and snap-lock strings - attached or supplied individually. Eyelets are available in black, gold, and silver to reinforce the drill hole; when an eyelet is selected, a 4mm drill hole is used. Without an eyelet, the drill hole is fixed at 3mm, positioned centrally at the top of the tag, the ideal diameter for use with a Kimble gun and nylon fastener.

Standard template sizes are 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 80mm, and 90mm in diameter. Custom diameters can be entered directly in the calculator, up to a maximum of 296mm.
