Rectangular swing tags are the most commonly found shape in retail environments, especially in the clothing sector. Jeans, dresses, shirts, t-shirts, skirts and accessories are all mostly found with rectangular tags on them because the shape lends itself to getting all the information on it in an efficient manner.
On the front of the tag, under any drill hole or eyelet, the title is normally found, followed by an image, possibly a logo or a picture of a model wearing the item and details like size and price follow at the footer. This arrangement is easy on the eye and keeps the information easy to access. The back of the tag can also be used to add further information for the customer to access quickly, like washing instructions, material and contact details.
